Map Display
The first options you will see on the pull down menu is the option of how you want your map to display.
- Map : This will display a simplified map with streets, names and outlines of bodies of water, buildings, etc.
- Satellite : This will display a satellite image of the area with road names and information overlaid on top of the detailed image.
- Terrain : Is a simplistic map like the “MAP” Option but it will also contain Terrain information showing differences in elevation.
Lands
This will overlay Fields / Blocks / Sub-Block boundaries of the growers your account currently has access to.
As you can see you are able to individually display the Field, Block and Sub-Block boundaries.
CLU
We have also added the ability to load the CLU layers (Common Land Units).
Common Land Unit : A Common Land Unit (CLU) is the smallest unit of land that has a permanent, contiguous boundary, a common land cover and land management, a common owner and a common producer in agricultural land associated with USDA farm programs. CLU boundaries are delineated from relatively permanent features such as fence lines, roads, and/or waterways.
To enable the CLU Filter:
- Click on the ” Select States” option under Common Land Units (CLU).
- Choose the states you would like to load the CLU information for, then Apply.
- Finally, select the checkbox next to CLU to load the layer onto the map.
