Compatibility
Currently offline functionality is not supported by AgVerdict NEXT. To use offline functions you are still able to use the AgVerdict iOS app.
It is officially supported by Chrome, and Safari.
Because AgVerdict NEXT is ran through a browser, virtually any device that can run Google Chrome or Safari as a web browser can run AgVerdict NEXT. This includes desktops, iOS devices, and Android devices. There is a limitation on how small the screen can be for AgVerdict NEXT to function properly, so currently cell phones are not supported.
Functionality
When you add a Map note and it is set as Public, anyone logged into AgVerdict will be able to see it. If you mark it as private, only you will be able to see it.
Currently we only fully support landscape mode on iOS. Portrait will work, but some elements of the page will have issues displaying correctly.
Yes! AgVerdict Classic is completely functional alongside AgVerdict Next. Any changes made in AgVerdict Classic are reflected in AgVerdict Next, and vice versa. Both AgVerdict interfaces interact with the same database in real time. We will be keeping AgVerdict Classic up and running until it is fully functional.
We encourage everyone to use and benefit from the updates made in AgVerdict Next. AgVerdict Classic will no longer functional via the Classic Web application and the Native iOS application for Recs and App Events.
Yes, we encourage you to have a tab open for each. This will allow you to more easily navigate between the two versions.
The first release phase will cover general navigation, map interface, recommendation creation, application event creation, and filterable lists for both recommendations and application events.
Yes, while we work on bringing over other features to the new look and feel, AgVerdict Classic will be used until those features are ready in NEXT.
Both systems will be working in the same Database. So information and records created in the new System will instantly show in the old. The same will go with any Recommendation and Application Events created in the classic system will be instantly visible in the new.
You will manage that information as you always have in AgVerdict Classic. Add your Farm/field/block/sub-block in AgVerdict Classic, then switch over to Next to view the changes. This is the same for changing and field information, such as acreage, Commodity or boundaries.
These are placeholders for features that are coming in the future. If you need to use these, navigate to AgVerdict Classic to use these features.
with the first release of NEXT, stand alone app events are not supported. If you need to create one, do so in AgVerdict Classic.
AgVerdict NEXT currently does not have filters to see only specific Products. Search works by filtering the options depending on what you are typing.
