Edit Field Details Directly on Recommendations
Field acreage and surrounding crops can now be updated in the recommendation. Updates to field information are saved when the recommendation is submitted. Saving the recommendation as a draft will not update field information.
Select a Default Split
The option to choose one non-location Split as the Default for an account is now available in AgVerdict.
The Default Split selection will NOT flow into AgVend yet, this functionality will be available in a future AgVend release.
- To set a Default Split, open grower’s Splits from the field view page. Select the three-dot menu on a non-location split, then choose Default.
- The Default Split is pinned to the top of the Split Billing Arrangements list and is clearly labeled.
- You can remove the current default at any time without selecting a new one.
- Location-based splits cannot be set as defaults; if locations are added to a Default Split, the default selection is automatically removed.
Updated Layout & Features for the Recommendation Summary Report
The Recommendation Summary Report now displays more information on one page, making recommendations easier to review. The redesign includes:
What’s New:
- Redesigned report layout — The recommendation name, ID, and date now appear at the top of each card instead of in a sidebar, creating a cleaner, more compact view.
- Active Ingredients column — A new product column shows active ingredients alongside product details.
- Farm-based organization — Recommendations are grouped by farm, sorted alphabetically, then sorted by date from oldest to newest.
- Multi-location recommendations– Recs that span multiple farms print a separate card for each farm with only that farm’s relevant locations.
- Full location details — Locations display the full land hierarchy, including Field, Block, and Subblock.
- Print by Block or Sub-block — Use the Print Recommendation Summary Report by dropdown to expand the report to the Block or Sub-block level. Locations without matching child blocks or sub-blocks are noted.
- Filtered to your selection — The report includes only the locations selected on Report Setup. Farm and commodity lists reflect only what appears in the report, not everything selected on the location screen.
- Email as PDF — The email workflow now sends the printed report as a PDF.
NOI Changes, including Proposed Time Warning
Proposed date and time for recommendations in California now allow for a user-entered custom time rather than the pre-selected times of 00:01, 06:00, 10:00, and 18:00.
When submitting a Notice of Intent (NOI), AgVerdict now checks whether the recommendation’s proposed date and time are at least 24 hours from the current time.
If the proposed time is less than 24 hours away, a prompt appears before the NOI is submitted.
From the prompt, you can:
- Submit — continue submitting the NOI as-is.
- Edit Recommendation — open the recommendation edit workflow to update the proposed date and time, then return to the recommendation dashboard after saving.
- Cancel — close the prompt and return to the NOI form.
California county regulations require NOIs to be submitted at least 24 hours before the proposed application time. This check helps prevent submission errors and follow-up calls from county inspectors.
Commodity Changes
“Vegetable” is no longer supported as a commodity choice.
If a location currently has “Vegetable” set, AgVerdict will not remove the designation but any label checks on recommendations for that location will fail. This change was made to better align our system with CDMS and label check logic.
