Agrian and AgVerdict Information Sync

The information below outlines how to update information in Agrian and AgVerdict to ensure that PUR submission to Agrian is configured correctly to allow the information to flow from AgVerdict into Agrian.

Setting up a Grower / Customer in Agrian

1. Login to Agrian with the Data share account:
   • https://www.agrian.com/home/login/
2. Navigate to Manage Data
   • Select “manually add grower” on the left hand side.
   • Input all information we have in AgVerdict.
   • Grower account # – can enter anything.
     • This is not assigned by Agrian.
     • Prefer to have JDE # in there if possible.
   • Leave expiration date defaulted.
   • Then “save grower information”.

3. Once saved there will be a number in the URL at the end.
   • This is the grower identifier – needs to be put into AgVerdict (Steps below)

Add sites

1. Enter site name – not really used.

NOTE: Sites are fields in AgVerdict

2. **Site ID’s use the customers ID’s
   • You can find these site ID’s on the land legals of the contracts that the growers sign
     • Have to touch base with Scott Morhead or Janna or Jeremey to get access to these.

 

4. Enter total planted area “is the contracted acreage“.
5. **Enter commodity.
6. **From AgVerdict put in the STR and Lat and Long.
7. Baseline / Meridian – Willamette

8. In Alternate Site ID, put in the same as above “contracted site ID’s”.
   • In second field – put in the grower name.

9. Save site information – Right hand side of screen.

Note: do not need maps if we have the STR, Lat and Long entered – If not, map need to be supplied.

Auto shares

NOTE: All items should be “Auto Shared” with Christa Douglas – Unless specifically defined.  Christa shares with the processor or retail outlet.

 

If a person needs to be added to share with, you will need their “Unique Agrian Identifier”.

1. Go to “Settings”.
2. Then “Associations”.

3. You will find the number in red in the top paragraph.

4. To add that person Select the “Add/Edit contacts” to add them to your list.
5. Then Select the person to Auto share with and click share.

How to Link Agrian Sites to Fields/growers in AgVerdict 

1. Note the grower ID that is in the URL in Agrian:

2. Also note the Site ID in Agrian.

3.Login to AgVerdict.

• Select Tools and Bulk Update in AgVerdict.  Match the Agrian ID’s to the related Grower / Field.

4. Navigate and select a Branch then a Grower.

5. Select Grower and then “grower Agrian ID”.
6. Select location “Agrian Site ID”.

7. Update the list by clicking “Apply”.

8. Double click to fill in the Agrian ID’s for the correct Grower and field.

9. Click “Save”.

NOTE : If you have only one grower in AgVerdict but have 2 growers in Agrian

• You still need to have the main account “Grower level in AgVerdict” to have the main account ID.  You can separate the two by placing the Grower ID’s on the Farm Level in AgVerdict.
• The Farm Level ID will default to the Farm Level if specified.

Submit PUR to Agrian            

Once an AE has been completed you will want to generate the PUR.

1. Click on the “P” Symbol above the location information.

2. At the top of the PUR report you will have an Agrian button to push to Agrian.

3. To see the status of the submission, refresh the page and hover your mouse above the Agrian button.
