AgVerdict Classic Feature Retirement

June 28th, we will be retiring some of the advanced agronomy features that are in AgVerdict Classic and have been moved into AgVerdict NEXT. Below is a list of the features and additional details.

Retired Classic Web Features:

• Variable rate

Sampling

All features on the web for sampling are being moved Classic to NEXT.

• Creating, Editing, Viewing Sampling Events
  • Supports Save and Complete option for Composite Events
  • Overlay support 
    • Imagery, Soil, Veris, Yield, Zones
• Heatmap display

Enhancements:

List of all sample events within the system – no need to drill down through lands to find them.

• Land based filtering can be activated through the “View Events” option in the Field page
• Filtering can be done based on creator, time of creation, sampling type, scheme, commodity, status of sampling event, etc

New Features:

1. Fruit Sampling is coming as an option for new sample events
2. Easy selection of existing sample layers for new events
3. Renumber points after placement, including for grid layouts
4. Bulk print of lab check-in sheets
5. Labels for sampling bags
6. (Coming) QR Codes for lab check-in sheets
7. TNS Threshold integration – identification of elements above / below / within nutritional guidelines for various crops
8. Adjust map view (zoom / pan) for results printouts
9. Result analysis option drills down into each point and displays performance against baselines
10. Print outs available for result analysis
11. Create a VR event directly from sample results via a new button in result analysis
12. Streamlined creation of events

Callouts

• Costing has been taken out of Sampling event creations
• 4 Panel reports will remain in Classic for the time being and will be accessible following the shutdown.

Zones

1. Support for Soil Optix, including direct connection to Soil Optix accounts for download into AgVerdict
2. Better support for Veris integration
3. (Coming) Bulk print of zone reports
4. (Coming) Bulk export of zone shape files

Variable Rate

New Features

1. Designed from the start for multi-land variable rate events
2. Recommendations can be created directly from the VR event, hooking into the existing Recommendation+Order workflow
3. View equation previews within VR event
4. View sampling information within VR events
5. Duplicate VR events
6. VR Export now allows for navigation away from the page when exporting as well as download of previously exported files
7. VR Report incorporates costs from recommendations created
8. Preliminary cost calculator added for costing without going through recommendation workflow
