If you are hitting some weird issues when using AgVerdict NEXT or Classic, one of the things you can do to fix these issues is clearing your browser cache and cookies.
Expiration of Cache
Cached files : Browsers try to do their part to speed up the loading process. The first time you visit a site, the browser will save pieces of the site because the browser can display the files stored in its cache much faster than it can pull fresh files from a server. The next time you visit that site, the cached files will help cut down the page load time.
Reason for Clearing Cache and Cookies: Many times web developers have to make updates to the files that comprise your site in order to push a change or new feature live. If we change a file that your browser has cached, it’s going to keep serving the old, cached version of the file and you won’t see our most recent changes. This is when you may encounter browser errors like run time errors, buttons missing on the page, etc.
How to clear your Cache / Cookies
Chrome
- Go to the upper right hand corner of the browser and click on the 3 stacked dots.
- Go to “More Tools” > “Clear Browsing Data”.
- Having the below checked should resolve most issues related to Cookies and or Cache. Also make sure the Time Range is set to All Time.
- Re-load the page and most issues should be resolved.
Safari
- Navigate to the top menu bar for Safari and select “History” and select “Clear History”.
- Once selected a window will popup and ask for the time period to clear. We recommend “All History” to ensure it removes anything that would be causing issues.
- Select ” Clear History”. Reload the page that was having issues.
