AgVerdict NEXT App Update 3.1.0

Map Notes Creation and View

In this release we have added the ability to see, create and manage Map notes within the app. To view map notes, the toggle to turn them on and off is under the Layers control on the map.

Notes set in the app will appear in web view and vice versa.

Map Notes Options

A new icon has been added below the layers button.  Selecting this will open up the creation of map notes for the user – Users can add quick notes (Road, Gate, Pump, and Danger markers as well as a custom option), area of interest notes, and text notes.  For any of these, once the note has been selected, the user can place the note on the map, enter a title and any comments, change the permissions for viewing the note, and save it.

Once selected you will get three options: Quick Notes / Areas Of interest / Text Notes

Quick Notes

This option will allow users to select specific icons that will show on the map.

  • Road – Allows for a road icon, and the user can add comments.
  • Gate – Shows a Gate Icon, and allows comments.
  • Pump – Shows icon of a pump and allows comments.
  • Danger – Show areas of concern or danger.
  • Custom – Show other areas of interest.

Areas of Interest

This allows the user to create a boundary around specific areas to highlight on the map. It will show as an icon, but once select it will display the boundary.

Text Notes

This will allow the users to add text to the map to point out anything they would like to show in text.

Editing and Deletion

To edit or delete a Map note, select the map note. Then select the Ellipses in the top left of the options.

Directions

Tapping a map note and selecting the ellipses in the top left will open the ability to get directions to the map note.  The app will give users the choice between using Apple Maps or Google Apps for directions.  Within preferences, the user can also set their favorite app to always be used for directions.

  • Select the map note
  • Select the Ellipses in top left
  • Select Directions
  • Then select the navigation app of their liking

Scouting & Trapping

Multiple new observations can now be added to the same survey stop.

All traps are now included within scouting reports.  If a report is requested for lands which don’t have survey stops but do have traps, these lands will be included.

Sampling

Users can now create Composite Sampling Events for soil, tissue, and fruit.  These can be created offline and will sync with the web when the user goes back online.

When viewing sampling events, users can view the sample layer after collecting all points.

Addressed Issues

  • A revalidation of login has been deployed to reduce the number of times a user must manually login.
  • Several backend fixes and upgrades were made for stability and performance.
