Product Search and Crop Protection Blend Enhancements in AgVerdict Next
This feature enhancement improves searching for crop protection elements to add to existing blend and streamlines the experience when creating new blends that include crop protection products.
Improved Crop Protection Blend Search in AgVerdict Next
- Improved Crop Protection Blend Workflow: For crop protection products that are active in AgVance, the new blend creation experience has been enhanced with product details such as uses, SKU/JDE numbers, densities, rates per acre, pricing, and inventory information available directly within the blending tool. This makes crop protection blends easier to build, review, and manage.
- CP Blend Badging & Search: Blends that include crop protection products now display an orange CP Blend badge in search results, making them easier to identify when creating recommendations or blend orders.
- Integration with AgVance Ticket Sync: Crop Protection blends continue to sync to AgVance through the standard custom blend workflow. AgVance ticket numbers can also be used to import AgVance blend tickets into AgVerdict.
- Dynamic Spray Volume & Diluent Calculation: Spray volume per acre (gal/acre) now updates automatically in real time as liquid fertilizers and additional products are added to the crop protection blend.
- Automatic Tank Mix Rules: When adding a crop protection blend to a recommendation, AgVerdict will prevent adding more products or blends to the tank mix. Services can still be added.
Blend Tool Improvements
- Product Search: Finding products is now faster and more intuitive. Search dynamically filters products across all Blend Tool categories, including Blend Set, Additional Products, and Crop Protection. Crop Protection products are now organized into a dedicated tab and clearly identified, making them easier to find and manage while building blends.
Report & Workflow Updates
- Crop Protection Banners on Reports: Recommendation and Work Order reports will now display an informational status banner when crop protection blends are included, ensuring full visibility downstream.
At this time, Crop Protection blends are not label checked (label check coming in 2027). When using Crop Protection blends, continue to follow all label requirements for any included products. - Crop Protection Blends in the Quotes/Blends workflow: Crop protection blends can be used in the Quotes/Blends workflow, but some UI features available in the recommendation workflow may not be fully supported there. These blends will continue to sync and function as expected in AgVance and AgVend.
Important Notice: AgVerdict Classic Blends Retirement
- Transition to AgVerdict Next: Blend creation in AgVerdict Classic has officially been retired.
- Clicking Blends within AgVerdict Classic will display a redirect message pointing users to AgVerdict Next to create, view, and edit custom blends.
Future Enhancements
- Expanded blending tool and spray volume calculator capabilities.
- Full CDMS label checking for blends that include Crop Protection products.
Bug Fixes
- Resolved an issue in standalone application events where bulk edit was not applying the selected applicator to subsequent field/land selections and could unexpectedly alter start and end times.
- Fixed an issue where starting a new recommendation from the map view immediately after editing field acreage retained outdated acreage numbers instead of reflecting the latest changes.
- Corrected a selection display issue where a parent farm checkbox appeared unchecked even when all associated child fields and sub-blocks were selected.
- Fixed a map display issue where boundaries for deactivated locations remained visible until the browser page was manually refreshed.
- Resolved an indefinite loading spinner that occurred when navigating to the Browse Tank Mixes screen when no saved tank mixes were present.
